Branding and identity development for the Social Media Strategies Summit. This logo was developed for the Public Agencies & Government portfolio of the #SMSSummit series.

I developed a circular badge style logo to share that same familiar presence as the presidential seal.

Shown against both dark  and light backgrounds.

Social media of the past [left]  versus social media of today [right] for our presidents.

Late Summer 2020 – A Typographical Presentation

The latest works from the LMI+D creative studio are presented here through animation and static imagery.

LMI+D Branded Stories

A new logo for BrandStrat Conference using bold colors choices in black and cyan along with a more modern font updated the previous look from a few years past. The client, GSMI, was pleased with the result and the look of the logo reversed while it occupies the website.

The “Direct Connect” logo was created for a member benefit for members of the NCIA – The National Cannabis Industry Association.  You can see the logo in place here:  DIRECT CONNECT.

Finally, Marchesi, which was launched earlier this year, was a design based upon modern luxury using gold foil throughout the application of the logo on labeling.

I was tasked to create a 24×36 sign to display at the upcoming Social Media Strategies Summit Chicago (#SMSsummit) to alert attendees that they can “Win a Google Home”.  The attendees had to take a photo with a new friend and post to their social media, such as Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

I wanted a propaganda style poster and ultimately came up with this design above showing two hands (you + your new friend) eagerly grasping their mobile devices and ready to take on the task. I created a vector illustration of the Google Home device and added it into the design.

FONTS: Museo Slab 900, Lobster 1.4, Museo Sans 700 & 500.

The client came back with several revisions, including replacing the image and moving the content up more and to make it bigger. The revisions created this below colorful sign.  What’s your take on this? Please leave comments below.

Looks like someone really appreciated the graphic design for the on-site booklet that was distributed at the 2015 Social Media Strategies Summit in Las Vegas.  This piece was US letter sized, 4/4, 60 pages and spiral bound.

This is a really fun event to design for. I’ve created several title designs based upon the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. This one here was streamlined down to just the outline laid over a blue burst background.

Conference graphic design for the Social Media Strategies Summit [#SMSSummit]  in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Amsterdam is a beautiful city.  I was inspired by the colors of the retro-inspired instagram filters as well as the unique houses that line the canals of the streets of the city.

Digital Pharma™ East (2012) pre-mailer. The concept was to place all the marketing information in a hand held tablet that was realistically sized. Conference information included sponsor logos, speaker faculty names, key metrics statistics and social media handles. ExL icon globe designed by outside source/designer.
